This is my very very first crocheted project ever! I have never crocheted anything before! I learned some stitches while I was sick as a child (7yo) but I had only one tiny ball of yarn so I couldn't make anything - I just tried different stitches and than ripped them apart. I haven't crocheted a stitch from than on. Nobody has ever showed me how to crochet so pleas excuse the mistakes that you might notice or irregularity or anything that might bother you with my "flaw-full" first project. Nevertheless I'm quite proud that I made them without any frustration and while kids were up! Grin I needed about 4 hours for this pair so it's very quick even for "wet behind the ears" newbies.

So - this photo seems familiar to you? Well it's supposed to be familiar:) I made fingerless gloves from the pattern that sweet sinjah  so generously shared with us here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=364362.0

Here is a different view so I won't be a total copycat Wink:

They were a present for my SIL and she seemed to like them. I hope you do, too. Please let me know what you think as this is my first crocheting and I'm not all that confident about them... Thanks!
please excuse her for the day, its just the way the medication makes her...

Yay! Great job. Glad your SIL liked them, they're fantastic.

I think my cat is sending me subliminal messages...

Fab first project! I'm ambitious enough to hope for a vaguely rectangular dish towel for my first crochet project. Smiley Those look great, and wearable too.

I think you did a great job! Especially since this is your first project, they turned out fantastic! Glad the pattern was helpful Wink

Thank you all for your kind comments!
Psyche, crocheting is not all that difficult, just give it a try! And sinjah's pattern is quite straightforward so I'm sure you can pull it off! If I did it, anyone can Wink.

I ordered Amigurumi world - Seriously cute crochet so I guess I'll keep crocheting - but mostly toys, I think Grin. My first dd is bugging me for more "wool toys" ever since I made her the first knitted teddy (just a while ago https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=365716.msg4297823#msg4297823). She wants gloves now hat she saw this... Well, I'll try my best making a pattern for her:) Another challenge...
