aka Dame Edna goggle specs
aka You should have gone to specsavers goggle specs
aka My Fly me to the moon winged goggle specs
aka My entry to the craftster challenge!

These are my supercheap sunglasses revamped using ultra kitsch materials to make a not-so-kitsch pair of pantomime dame/ superhero GOGGLE SPECS!!

  • sunglasses (1 from Poundland here in merry old england)
  • Popsicle sticks (from my local garden centre - don't ask me why my local garden centre has a very large children's craft section...)
  • Feathers (Hobbycraft)
  • Pom poms (Hobbycraft)
  • Pipe cleaners (I found them in my house)
  • Sequins (as above)
  • Lots of glue

Oh how I envy those of you whose photographs come up all clear and in focus....

Here they are on my "willing" volunteer

And in my blue kitschen (hehehehe)

On the left hand side are the pipe cleaners (chenile sticks) and on the right are popsicle sticks.

*very bad* close up of the popsicle sticks, which took a very long time to cut up and stick together. They're painted green and the stars are the sequins. On the bottom of the rim there is pom poms

And then the left side (behind the pipecleaners) which has another green popsicle stick stuck on. The other side has some pom poms and some glitter on. (The glitter looks so sparkley and special in real life ... the camera can never show its twinkley nature...)

Well, that's them.
They protect you from UV rays AND from radioactive rays thrown at you by evil villains trying to halt your superhero business AND they can fly AND they're x-ray specs so you can see through things when you wear them. WOW!

Hope you like

ps sorry for the bad photos.
if you want to see better photos then buy me a better camera!
