June nearly marks my step father's 2 year anniversary of having brain surgery, but this year, he's seemed a bit off and I'm not real sure why. I know it isn't my business to pry, but he seems really down in the dumps.

I'd like to make him something witty with the whole brain theme, but with a sentimental edge using maybe some pictures or something of my sisters and I. Maybe something for his desk at work.

Ideas, anyone? :]

this isn't crafty at all, but this reminds me of the new operation game they have where you pull things out of a head.

Hmm... I guess the first thing to do is really take any references to being depressed or suicidal ideations seriously (if you say he seems "blue")....

What about using a phrenology map as the basis for a collage of pictures? Or you could replace the words in the diagram with things that will have meaning for him? ie. some vacation he enjoyed, pet names, favourite foods etc..

More on phrenology...

This calls for a very special blend of psychology, and extreme violence.
