A few weeks ago I was at the Violent Femmes concert and on the way out couldnt help but snag a large t-shirt:

I wanted to reconstruct it and started sketching out how I wanted it to look. heres my crappy sketch   Smiley

I posted the sketch and asked you lovely craftsters for help and this is what I came up with!

dress pre-straps

the back post straps

a close up of the image (I thought it very fitting it says handmade on it  Wink)

and ofcourse the action shot!

I hope you like it!! And thanks to those who helped me with the ruffles and such! muah!  Kiss

Shocked WOW.....You did a great job. This is giving me some ideas for some oversized shirts of my own...

Sometimes I get so weird
I even freak myself out
I laugh myself to sleep
It's my lullaby
Sometimes I drive so fast
Just to feel the danger
I wanna scream
It makes me feel alive

Dammit! I wish I wasn't so tall! Large shirts are never that large on me.

It looks way good and would so be something I'd wear, if I could find a shirt that long. Grr.

Very nice, the green and the pink look way good!

I like breaking things....

It looks awesome. Very pretty. =) Love the colours together. And it's practically the exact same as the sketch. =D Wow.

That looks awesome! I think that you could do it with any size (or any combination of) t-shirts just by adding longer ruffles, waistbands etc etc... Anyway great job.

Thanks everyone!  Grin

Pseudodeath, yeah I'm pretty short, but like una mas said, you could add longer ruffles and make the waistband longer so the dress would have added length.

And decorated-emergency, I can try my best at a tutorial. I've never made one before though. I hope you dont mind if I maybe draw one out (i'm horrible with most computer programs hehe)
