I bought a little journal at the thrift store.  (At my local thrift shop you can buy a grocery sack full of books for $3!!).  But it was cheap and cheesy, I think it was a dollar store cast off.  It needed a makeover.
It was really simple.  I just cut a rectangle of felt a little longer than the book and folded and sewed the ends to hold the book in.
I added a felt bumble bee and flower and stitched a little bee trail.

Very cute.  Did you just draw the stripes on the bee?
