Last night I cast on for the Julsey Anthropologie Mini Cardi using knitpicks Panache and I am just loving this yarn. The stitches are very well defined, the yarn as a nice amount of give, it is fabulously soft and I just love it. I knit this before using Debbie Bliss Cashmerino, and I think I like this yarn better. I definately like the price better. Anyone else in love with the yarn on their needles right now?

I'm using some thrifted yarn right now that I want to make a nest out of. Bright red, fuzzy mohair! Instead of a nest, I'm making a ruffly wrap. Close enough, I figure!

I'm in love with KnitPicks Shine right now. It's extremely soft and cool to the touch, so it just glides through my fingers while I'm working with it. I'm making a summery, short-sleeved top with it, and I can't wait to be finished because I think this is going to be one comfy FO.

Hooray for KnitPicks!

It's not on my needles right now, but the yarn I'm in love with is Classic Elite Bamboo. Once my birthday comes around and I recieve the money it usually brings (no one knows what to buy a college-age kid, after all), I'm buying some Southwest Trading Company Bamboo and making some pretty summery shirt. I've only got about a month more to wait!

Mm, bamboo.

Rated PG-13 for language and mild peril.

Ultra Alpaca from Berroco. It's 50/50 alpaca and wool, comes in a lot of gorgeous shades (the heathered ones are BEAUTIFUL) and it felts nicely! Not to mention it's soft and, at least for me, behaves like Cascade 220's more luxurious cousin. XD I love it!

I too am lovin' Knit Picks Shine (Worsted)! Although I have to tug a bit more with Shine to make even stitches (no drunken knittin' with Shine!) It is my all time favorite!

must admit, I have been wanting to bust my bamboo yarn cherry....

I would like to swap my knits (or amigurumi stuffies) for your handmade journal...pm me!
