i thought it was the other way around. (expensive in the 80s and practically free now in thrift stores.)  look at your local salvation army.  i see them all the time at mine.

All ya need is some jeans, a skinny scarf round yer neck and some ruffly surfer wavy hair and you're all set!

There's usually a lot of those shirts listed on ebay. If you catch things at the right time, you can manage to buy them pretty cheap.
