I have a couple pictures of my booth in the gallery here. The pics are from the Bazaar Bizarre in Cleveland! It was freakin' cool!

Anyway, I had to take two pics, because it was an 8' table and not enough room across from it to get the whole thing.

Still learning, but I've been managing to group things a bit better.

Hi everyone,
I plan on doing some local street fairs and festivals this summer but seeing as I am new to this I'm looking for new, creative, and affordable ways to display my wares.  I run a website that specializes in items by a variety of artists so my products run the gamut.  Anyone have any pictures of how they set up? Or any pointers to make set-up and break down easier?

Thanks so much for posting.  I'm working on some ideas now.  My first market is next month.

this is not the best photo, but in the center/left part of the screen you can see what my friend made to hold cuffs.

she used thin peices of driftwood and tied them together, so they hung like a rack. the top one was a bit thicker, and she wrote the price in white paint. the cuffs, which closed with velcro were easy for people to take on and off, and it also made a kind of 'wall' around the space.

i think it could be adopted for other things, like maybe scarves. it was easy to transport/move, because she literally just rolled the thing up. voila!

i sold a whopping three things last weekend (my first time) but i think i simply had the wrong stuff for the audience, at a concert... or that's what i keep telling myself... Wink

best of luck to you, you'll do much better at an actual craft fair!

please post photos or sketches if you see other cool ideas.  Grin

I'm just starting out with craft fairs also, and I would say that's been the hardest part for me....figuring out how to attractively display my products.  I did one craft fair before Christmas and thought before I arrived that I had great display ideas....but when I looked around the room almost everyone else had a better display than I did.  It really seems to be all about presentation.
