So...that time of the year has swung round again, the part of the year when it seems that many weekends are filled up with wedding-related activities.

My question is...does anyone have any sewing project ideas for something I can wear as a guest that is simple and elegant that attracts minimal attention but does not shout "look at me...LOOK at me!"?

Pattern suggestions, ideas, anything would be welcome!

I'm sort of partial to the vintage vogue pattern 2902:

What a classic Stacy... Smiley
I totally agree with you on this one...Britknit I would definitely go for this one!
This is a dress that to me is never out of style and with different accessories can fulfil different propuses! It is like 1001 utility dress...
Have you made this one?

Not yet, but it's on my list of things I want to sew.  My brother in law was supposed to get married this summer and I was planning on doing this pattern, but they postponed it to next year - gives me lots of time to sew it now!   Grin

Joann's definitely carries the pattern; that's where I got mine. Smiley I'm making it in lilac with a black lace overlay for this years wedding season.  (It's pretty easy to do, since the pattern is for a lined dress)
