does anyone know of a place that sells zippers that are shorter than the common 7"? i want to make a wallet with zippered change pouch, and i only need a 2 or 3" zipper. i know i can shorten a longer one, but it seems like overkill. also, i thought if it was shorter to begin with, it might be proportionally narrower as well. thanks!

where are we going, and why am i in this handbasket?

I can usually find 4" zippers at joannes

And if you asked her she'd never let go, and you'd stay forever

Maybe try ebay?  There are lots of people selling zippers on there, and some people have ebay stores just for zippers.

hate to be the person to tell you this but you can shorten zippers!! you can make a long zipper any length you want...

first close the zipper, you would not want to cut or do anything because the pull would come off and then you wouldnt be able to use it.

measure how long you want the zipper to be and zig-zag over the teeth of the zipper at the measured length, then cut off the extra length.  its as easy as that, im surprised that no one else mentioned it.
