Hello, I have been crafting quite a bit lately  Cheesy but have never sewn so much as a button.  Embarrassed We're in the process of cleaning out a sick relative's house and there's a sewing machine I can have, I'm wondering if I should take it and try to learn? It's a Riccar Model 7500, I think it says "Super Stretch". It works, been folded down into it's cabinet for a few years though.  Undecided

P.S. Sorry if this is not the right forum for my post.

in my completely uneducated opinion, I think you should, if you have an interest in starting to sew.  I can't find anything online as far as reviews, but you can get the manual from the manufacturer, and there's loads of replacement parts avail. as well.  It's free, and you're a beginner, so you really have nothing to lose except a little time.  I'd go for it, and who knows?  You might be a blossoming designer this time next month Smiley

congrats on coming across a free sewing machine that works - these are few and far between Smiley
