I received from Jane Feebles today!

I got a tea cosy, a cute little notepad and pen, a necklace with fork charms, cookie cutters, a pan scraper, a strawberry huller (and I have strawberries in the fridge right now!), Cadbury chocolates with pictures of Aussie animals on them (!) and 2 very important books for a homemaker:
Betty Crocker's Guide to Easy Entertaining: How to Have Guests - And Enjoy Them, and
The Awful Handyman's Book: How do you put it right if you've messed it up? The cover also says "You'll find here what not to do in the first place and what to do if you've bodgedt it anyway."

And here's a close up of a few items:

The tea cosy has a quote from Alice's Adventures Through the Looking-Glass: "Why, I've believed as many as 6 impossible things before breakfast." I quoted this in my high school yearbook (somebody did her homework!) The little notebook says "Canapes? What would Betty do..." The accompanying Betty Crocker guide lists a pad and pen as indispensible tools for planning dinner parties.

Great package! I love everything Smiley

That stuff is sweet!  I love the TP cozy!  lol

For anyone interested in their very own Sushi TP Cozy, the pattern is here: http://crochetme.com/issue_1/sushi_tp_cover.html
I made the all crochet version and I would just say to fight the urge to make your white circle a tiny bit larger than the toilet paper roll. Mine ended up being too wide for a double-roll because the top still grew for a bit after I switched to black. As I pointed out to Sonjaboo in my note, it ended up doubling as a funny hat because its a bit too big  Tongue

Yay! I'm glad the teacosy fits your pot so well, it looked very weird on my pot with the handle on the side...

Thanks folks.  Aren't those forks awesome?  I got them at Crazy Clarks (the cheapo store) for 12 for $2.  I bought heaps.  Little scissors too  Smiley

That Betty Crocker book is freaking fanstastic. Where else can you learn the important rules to throwing a bachelor's midnight supper?? (big tip- wieners people, they make any event a party  Wink)

Do you stitch? Do you bitch? Do you live in BrisVegas?? http://brisbanesnb.wordpress.com/
