Friend of boyfriend asked for this one after spazzing about the pikachu hat and offered $30. I finally got around to taking a stab at it yesterday. Don't mind the thread bits. For some reason I don't pick them off before pictures. D:

Don't mind the scary head.

front. It looks uneven there Sad wth

back. Ooh sexy spikes.

And posing with my bf's stuffed sonic that I got him for christmas, and stole back last week to study his head. :} tee-hee

the side spikes are supposed to curve down more, and I didn't have enough fabric leftover to redo them Sad They were already almost too small, so I couldn't risk altering them. Thats the only thing I'm really unhappy about. But they're managable as is. Anyways, I hope the guy likes it/thinks its worth the money. ^.^;

That's really cute! Eh, I didn't notice that it was uneven or that the spikes don't curve down enough until you pointed it out- don't worry about it! I'm sure he'll love it- nice work!

I <3 Sonic.  Me and my boyfriend have spent hours playing it.  Had some great times.  Cheesy  As such, I LOVE this hat.  What did you stuff the spikes with?

Fluff!
"supersoft fiber" from JoAnn. A good sized bag is about two bucks. I tried to be very sparing with stuffing this, because I didn't want it to get heavy enough to fall off his head. It already weighs down the styrofoam head like all hell.

Yay!  Sonic the Hedgehog is one of my favorite video characters...and cartoon characters, now that I come to think of it...

Great job on the hat, though!  It is quite spiffy!
