For my second post, I completed a jacket based on a mccalls pattern. The instruction was pretty easy up until the end..I think they got lazy and left out some steps like finishing the sleeves and what to do with the two extra pieces they told me to cut out...but anywho here it is:

on me:

comments/suggestions appreciated. Wink

I continue to be amazed by you... first the shorts and skirt, and now this!
You must have a natural talent  Wink (I wish I had it too!)
It's a beautiful jacket, so cute! I love the collar, and the fabric!

Your jackey is absolutely beautiful. The fabric choice is wonderful as well! Which McCall's was it based on btw?

Thanks everyone! Grin

sweetpadee, Rhinny: the pattern number is M5007, I try to get them when they are on sale ($1 @ hancocks/joann) like the sale comming up at the end of this month @ hancock.

thelarsbar: the pattern is rated easy, and as I mentioned, it was pretty easy to make, except for the missing instruction on how to finish the sleeves, and what to do with the extra pieces...maybe I overlooked. Roll Eyes

That's really nice. I like the plaidish material. It's funny, 'cause I never would have thought by looking at that pattern that the actual product would end up so pretty.
