thanks for all your replies, lol, i'm such an attention whore, lol. anyway, i have been trying to come up with a tutorial for youse guys who asked for one, but i have come to the realization that trying to hold a crochet hook, project and camera simultaniously is NOT possible, lol. so you can see what i have thus far, but i'll try to get my sis to take pics of me doing it when she comes over on Wed.

ok, you crochet the middle circle part:

(i dont remember exactly what i did. but guessing: i made an adjustible loop, and then dc 11 in the loop, sl st
then did 2sc in each dc, sl st
the chained 5, sk one sc and dc, ch 3, sk 1 sc, dc and ch3, etc until you get to the end and sl st, then bind off and start on next color)

then put the circle in the middle of your hoop and figure out how many you will need to chain to reach the edge, i chained 5. you dont want the crochet part to be hanging loosely in the hoop, so dont chain it all the way to the edge cause you will be using a sc to connect to the hoop. i hope that made any sense, lol.

then to connect!
you bring the hook thru the hoop, leaving the string infront, then sc

in mid-single crochet

completed sc

[NOTE: your yarn/string will get looped around the hoop, as you go, but that is ok. you can undo it as you go, or when you are done and bind off and then cut the string. ]

then chain the same number (mine was 5) you chained after adding the second color and sl st. i dont know how i figured how many sc to skip , i just eyeballed it. i tried to guestimate how many it would take to go around the whole loop. man i am bad at explaining, lol. sorry.

then continue that process.

good luck, this was a crappy explanation i think, but if anyone figures out how to better explain, please feel free to help, lol.

P.S. do you think i could sell these? i want to start selling my stuff on etsy. it's my summer project Smiley any price ideas? just curious. thanks
