This is Mortimer the Penguin.  (His name is pronounced More-timer; my friend thought that's how you pronounced it  Cheesy)  It took me about 5 hours to make, hand-sewn.  I based the pattern off of the patterns from Free Penguin Project http://www.free-penguin.org/ - but instead of just using the four pieces for the body, I added a 5th piece for his bottom (so he sits flat). 

I also changed the shape of his tummy (the white part) and the eyes, and his size in general.

Thanks!  He reminds me a bit of Feathers McGraw in the Wallace and Gromit films.

I might try making a more rounded penguin (like Tuxedo Sam), but we'll see.  As serialdeviant said, you can never have too many Smiley
