I made these felt appliqued wall hanging especially to fit into cheep ikea frames.  I actually made the tufted puffin one twice because I made them both facing the same way and I wanted them to face each other.  I gave the extra one to my mom.

These are cool!  Did you freehand the design, or use a pattern as a starting point?

At first glance, they look like framed photos.  Great job!

Thanks! I drew a pictures freehand and then traced and cut out all the pieces I wanted to be separate colors and sewed them together.

they are a little bigger than a foot square.  I decided that if you want something to fit into an ikea frame you have to design it to fit in one instead of hoping there will be a frame there that fits it.  They are all weird european sizes that don't fit with mats from the store or most normal print sizes.

What are the
