In a bag of fabric I picked up at a garage sale there was this truly terrible fabric.  So I did what any parent worth their salt would do, I made my kid wear it.  It turned out alright, and my daughter is completely bonkers that she has a bag just like mommy wears.
(sorry about pic size, my choices seem to be itty bitty or super huge)

It suits a child well, I thought, at least my daughter as she like things with pictures, instead of boring solid colours like I wear.  As a bonus, it took probably 30 minutes to make, and, as I said, its completely thrilled my kid.
Hope you enjoy!

That's not truly terrible fabric - I think it's great and a bonus that your daughter likes it too!

She's cute!

Thanks, though, I think if you saw the fabric in entirety, it would of frighted you.  And I think she's cute too.

OMG!  What a sweet picture.  She is a cutie pie!  And she looks darling modeling her bag.  You did a good job and that happy face says it all.
Score!  How cool is that?!
