I'm working on a pair of socks for my mom who has a US sizs 81/2 foot. The socks are a secret present so I really can't ask her to measure the legnth of her foot. Is there some kind of chart out there that shows the length of different foot sizes?

I tried to use that for my hubby's secret socks and it was waaay off, and too long. did anyone else make socks sucessfully with this generator?

I wear an us 8 1/2 and my foot is 9.75 inches long. Its 8.5" around the ball of my foot.

according to my chart, it's 9.75" total length.....8" heel to toe and 1.75" toe.   glad to hear from someone that the chart is right. Smiley   oh and the heel flap is 2.25"

Weird, I just checked that dietdiary thing again for my foot and it was ACCURATE!!! Huh

Maybe my hubby's feet are strange in some way Huh
