I just got this book from ebay. It's japanese and It's called Aranzi Aronzo So Cute! Projects (or something like that.)

ISBN4579110765  It is totally adorable and since I want to justify purchasing more of these types of books I made these cute felt envelopes.  They are really easy.

Some of them have decorated backs:

They open to hold a small card or other small treasure.

My Mom is getting ShrinkyDink charms made by my kids for Mother's Day.  Hers is the green flowered one.

Those are too cute! Do you think you could address/mail them?

Hmm.... I don't know.  Maybe you could mail them if you carefully secured the decorations.  I should maybe ask at the post office.

Seems like you could easily fit those in envelopes (the size for cards) and it's probably light enough to be just one stamp. So pretty. I always want to buy japanese craft books but I don't know where to get them! Where did you buy this book IamSusie? I need to learn how to read.. sorry  Embarrassed

Well I used Ebay, but these books are much cheaper at YesAsia http://us.yesasia.com/en/Index.aspx  I find it really difficult to search for anything at YesAsia, but the prices are the best.

It doesn't look like they have this book available right now.  It is also at this website:  http://www.kitty-craft.com/shop/search1.php

Have you seen this website? http://www.craftlog.org/craftingjapanese/  Japanese Fabulous abounds there.

They are so cute!  I love all the colours you chose.  Felt is such a fun fabric to work with - I love the look of simplicity that the finished project has.  I followed some of the links you provided and just spent 2 wonderful hours getting lost in Japanese crafts and some really amazing blogs.  Thanks.

You would probably want to stick them in a paper envelope.  The post office has to rubber stamp all over them, and plus a postage stamp or address label very likely wouldn't stick to the felt.

But I can't tell you how thrilled I'd be to open a plain old paper envelope and find that inside!  I may have to make some myself!  Off to buy that book.
