Good work caramelo! It looks pretty good. I also felt a bit of post knitting disappointment at how mine didn't look as good on me as it did on kirsten dunst. I got over it though, It was a movie and she had a team of stylist for make up, hair and probably a team of stylist just for the hat too! Those are impossible expectations to live up to. I have grown to love my pithy hat even with all its imperfections...and mine Smiley

I got this yarn for the Pithy hat its TLC Essentials in Falling Leaves. It looks similar to the yarn in the real hat.

Oh mi gawd! I was going to make the hat out of that same exact yarn, but they didn't have that color went I went looking for it! Great minds think alike, no? Wink I can't wait to see how it looks!!!

I was at a store called Tuesday Morning and they were having a bit of a knitting sale (not a lys just a retail store).  I found the Boye Needle Master-interchangeable needles...so now i have sizes 2-15 in straight/flexible and circs....hallelujah

looks great so far littlejoi, keep up the good work! I know it's tough and tiring (even on circular needles) but it'll be worth it in the end. I just about tore my fingers to shreads on this little baby!

I may be the only one that feel this way, but I found that it was too difficult on the circulars so I switched back to using double points... not the usual 7" ones, but some long bamboo ones (about 12").  The circulars were just too tight.

I'm the deadliest woman in the world [with knitting needles].

LittleJoi, I love the way your yarn is doing the diagonal stripes.  So cool!

The shortest circular length I have is a 20" cord, I believe... could I possibly make one of these hats using this? The pattern calls for 16", right? I have a Boye needle set and want to use that so I don't have to buy new needles... if I need new needles I'll have to delay this! If I can use that, I am ordering yarn tonight in my Knitpicks order!

I'm crystalnickel on Ravelry!
