You can tell I am looking forward to summer from those bookmarks bubba*tink - lol Smiley

indeed!!  Cheesy  same here!  It was all sunny and warm a couple of weeks ago, but things just turned around and it's chilly and rainy...I love the rain, but I was getting used to the warmth!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

I'm glad that you like the CD, Emily Flew! I can't wait to receive my CDs, as well.

I got my package from TheRehn as well, with a different Indian lady on the front, but the same cool sparkly things and bookmarks. I, like bubba*tink, like Indian music, but don't have any.

Thanks TheRehn!

hoxierice, are you able to post a picture? i'd love to see yours as well.

I got my stuff from bubba*tink today. TWO Cd's and marble magnets with "local" flare. I am very excited and will definitely post pics when I can!

Goodbye Tucson! I will miss how everything dried so quickly!

Prepare to be envious of the package that PinkMafia and I received from EmilyFlew!

Here's the entire she-bang:

Yep, she sent TWO cds! One was the world cd, and the other is country music for people who don't like country. I haven't listened to the country music cd yet, but the world cd is grand!! I listened to it on the way to work this morning, and there are several that I enjoy. (I would tell you what they were called but I left my playlist at home).

Also, she sent a felted case complete with a world applique! It's fantastic:

The pin she made has a picture of the Empire State Building, and it's already pinned on my bag. Perhaps EmilyFlew could post her playlists for the gallery?

Thanks again, EmilyFlew!

Sweet Merciful Zeus! Everyone has to see what MyRedUmbrella has sent me.

Wowzer. Before I show everyone my parcel, I want to take this opportunity to say... My souvenirs suck. I'm sorry. I had half an hour after Uni to go looking for something, and the only places that were open were the horrid 'Australiana' shops on Swanston St. My partners may also realise quickly, when they receive their CDs, that I don't have a printer. You'll understand when you see the playlist.  Wink

But oh... cast your eyes across this:

Isn't it pretty? And on the reverse...

She's sent me some songs I've wanted for a while - such as Sigur Ros, a track from Air which I don't have, Ca Plane Pour Moi, which I love and don't have, and a Bjork that I never knew existed. I'm so very pleased, and so very many thanks to her!
