Here's the beautiful, beaded scissor sheath that Kiki_eks made for me!  The backing is the same great tie-dyed felt that it was wrapped in and is placed on in the picture.

It can be worn around your neck so you can keep up with you scissors  Smiley Here's an action shot

The beads are fantastic and I love the sheath!  Thanks so much, Kiki_eks!

You are so welcome. I like how the felt matches your shirt. That was my little touch of hippy for you. Wink
Thanks for posting pictures - I couldn't find my camera in time so I only have camera phone shots.

Oh kiki_eks, that is amazing!  How long did it take you to bead that?

Oh it took an hour here an hour there  Wink  I think I started it doing it the long hard way picking each one out of a cup, so I could get the random mosaic look I was trying for. then I had a duh moment about 2/3 done and it went a bit smoother once I pulled out my bead board. I watched a couple of movies, some TV, even a hours worth in my car then finished it off with another movie. I think it was over a 3 or 4 day period. Netflix and beads Wink

I love the game, but I totally suck at. My SO beats me EVERY time we play.

tiph_thompson is an AMAZING craftster! the squares for the game are perfect!! I can't stop saying "WOW"

Oh, man, i'm so happy you like it.  You can play gomoku/pente on it, too.  i was like, okay, she likes pink, japanese things, plum blossoms, deep blues, and nerdy mathy type stuff.  OBVIOUSLY i should make her a japanese-in-origin nerd game, with some handy dandy pink plum blossom fabric i just happen to have here.  Grin  I love playing Go too, and i too suck at it. Unfortunately i haven't any pictures, but that's all good,  and no, you don't owe me any more tiny things, i'm quite pleased with my a-ne-mo-ne  Cheesy

You read me like a book!  I didn't have to change shirts to get that effect; it was the one I had on when I got the mail.  When not at work I love to wear tie-dye. Wink

Here is the great "item" that Gomerrific sent to me. Wink
I am going to put up the pics then explain what it is.

Now, let me tell you all about it!
She took my love of horror, vampires, goth, and flamingos and made me....
Count Mingo the Vampire Flamingo (that is what I call him)  Grin
The Coffin is make of cardboard and black tape (I think, Gomerrific please correct me if I am worng on any of this) and Count Mingo is polymer clay.
His cape is black felt with a red tie and he looks to be hand painted.
It also has a small stand made out of polymer clay that I can stand it up on but I have not yet decide what to do with him.
She wrote on the note that she hoped I could appreciate a weird sence of humor.
Well Gomerrific I love it...this is so me!!!!
I guess we both have a "weird" sence of humor because I think he is great.
Thanks so much!!!! Grin
I am going to show off the pics to some other friends thne find a fitting place for the Count to live.
Thanks again!
