This might actually belong in stencils, BUT I did a really bad job so I'm a little too ashamed to put it there.

My sketchbook cover is a plain black, and I needed a way to designate which is the front. I wanted to put something cute on the front, and I was inspired by a shirt someone stencilled of a little boy and girl kissing.

So I tried to find a similar stencil. NOT AN EASY TASK. I found silhouette images of a couples facing each other, but the people just weren't..."pretty" enough for my taste. Being the wannabee artist that I am, I decided to draw my own. I cut out the figures, then applied fabric paint around the edges (I can't find my acrylics -__-).

Ta dah...

It's messy and I assure you that the original image looks much much much better. I also should have allowed their legs to extend to the bottom edge, but it's too late now. I might make clouds down there or something...

So yes. I am willing to share the image if any of you are interested. When I find my X-acto knife (I lose everything, I swear), I hope to make a crisper stencil on a T-shirt.

I loove this! I think it looks great as it is, although I also think that the clouds idea could look pretty gorgeous too...

I'd love to have the image for this...it's so lovely...nice work!  Grin
