This swap gallery is intended as a way to recognize all the wonderful personal swaps that are done in this community!

Folks who have participated in a personal swap and wish to share pictures of the items they have sent and received may do so by posting in this gallery.

Please note that this gallery is meant for those who have had a good experience with their personal swaps!  This is not the place to air your grievances about being "flaked" on...please keep it positive and give love to those awesome personal swappers! Wink

Each month, a new gallery will be started.  If you have received from a personal/private swap, within the month, feel free to post pictures here!   Grin

A cupcake hat from knittingtwit! I love it so much! My crappy cell phone picture doesn't do it justice at all.

I answered a Classified Ad posted by the noodle princess; she was offering various fabrics.  I'm sending her a kittyville hat (just finished it today, will post it tomorrow).  So here's a bunch of pictures for you to drool over  Grin Wink

They're all so gorgeous!!  The pictures don't show all the detail and don't do them any justice.  I'm going to use them in a quilt I'm making (an "I Spy" quilt, every square is different.  If you want to see in progress pics head over to my blog)

Thank you so much the noodle princess!!! Kiss Kiss

I posted bigger pictures on my blog (well, they actually look like they're the same size but if you click on them they get bigger Cheesy).

I did a private swap with ewushka. I sent her random craft supplies and she sent me rad stuff from Sweden.
Here's what I got:

adorable fabric, a flower keychain, and merimekko napkins

-a great book on swedish painted designs (which she translated for me  Wink) AND the proper paint brushest to use.
- a WONDERFUL 1950s women's magazine, which i LOVE  Grin

Thanks for everything Ewa!

EDITED to add picture of second package:

I got more fabric and napkins. Polka dot felt! and interesting beads with skulls  Smiley

I participated in a personal swap with The Felt Fairy.  She made me this wonderful bookmark:

She needle felted the design on the front in merino with a craft felt backing then added the beads.  Isn't it beautiful?  Way too pretty to hide in a book.

Thank you Felt Fairy!

I received my Blankie2 from Knichole!

She is absolutely awesome!

The "original"

for background see here and here.

I'm not sure what to send her in return  Undecided but I'll find something!

In return for the bookmark - you're very welcome - I received the most beautiful bracelet from radal 16. It is beaded and sparkly and very girly, just what I needed.

She is a very talented craftter!! I love it, thank you radal.  Grin

Here's almost everything I got from nix kisses. The missing items is a ball of blue cotton yarn and another package of shrinky dinks (that are already in progress)

I love it all, but the shrinkies are the best! I've made cool Blindside-necklace and earrings for my daughters and they love it! I'm so happy. You can't get shrinkies in Sweden! (stupid! We don't have any Michael's or Jo Ann's either Sad )
