Ok - I'll post pics of the stuff I made for lexbean and the stuff she made for me tomorrow, I'm recharging my batteries right now - literally and metaphorically!

And sheesh! I never said anything about Lexbean's package to me. I really really love it, and so will you all once you see it!

It's tree-rific! (feel free to groan at that one)

I got my package from Sissychrissy today! Woo hoo!!

Here is the crafty goodness I received...

Fun wrist cuff bracelets:

Eyemask that says "I think trees are peachy!"
(and I was just saying the other day I needed to get one of these for when the migraines strike,
that or the need for and afternoon nap!)

A wonderful earring holder plus a detail showing some of my earrings standing in as leaves!

And last but not least, my tree-inspired bag with a leafy flap!

Thanks so much Sissychrissy...you were an amazing swap partner.  Grin

Cute stuff so far you guys!  I got all my stuff from TessTessi finally.  She had to send it out in 2 waves.  Smiley

First off we have this absolutely awesome handsewn pillow:

And here it is stylin' on my corduroy Ikea couch:

I really love the way it matches with the furniture and pillows I already have!  The other furniture in the room is a brown plaid armchair, and the pillow looks right at home on that too.   The tree print is something that she received in the other tree swap.  Smiley

Next we have the BAG OF FABULOUSNESS!:

It's really heavy and durable, and the lining fabric matches one of the fabric strips on my pillow.  It really looks great and professional!  I would have taken a pic of me wearing it so you can see how big it is (it is quite large), but my camera battery was dying so I had to just snap some pics really quick.  It's got a pocket on the inside too.  I love it.   Grin

I also got a cute little journal with a tree branch pattern on the cover, and 3 little boxes of herb starters (mini pot, dirt coin, seeds).

Stop making that big face!

Those packages are great. I was painting today and I'm still stuck on trees. Anyone else still got tree crafting stuck in their heads?

Heck ya I got trees (especially tree crafting) on the brain! I have been contemplating it for weeks and it is kind of hard to stop!!!  Smiley

Since Sissychrissy hasn't had a chance to post what I sent to her yet...I will post the pics I took before the package left my hands. (Hope you don't mind I did this for you Sissychrissy!)

The whole shebang...

The earrings...
(They are photoshop altered photos by Ansel Adams, one is Oak Tree at Sunrise and the other is Oak Tree at Sunset)

The screenprinted tee...

And the felted needle case....
(with an inside view with heavy paper examples of what each slot is for!)

I got my swap package from geek_patrol yesterday, and it was awesome!

She sent little goodies to embellish my cloths, the embroidered applique is AWESOME.  The bracelet is made of hemp which looks like a branch, it has little beads on it that reminds me of dew on a leaf, and in general it rocks. One of the buttons has a poem which reads:
are poems that Earth writes
upon the Sky
and turn them into paper,
that we may record our

Then she also sent this perfect little figurine of a tree. It is very beautiful, finely detailed, and very intriguing to my cats (Marilyn, but she looks like Merzilla in this picture).  It looks SO perfect in my little figurine display area, but if the cats find it interesting I may have to hide it up high!

Thank you very much for everything!

What beautiful stuff everyone has made!

That pillow looks so lovely on the couch, and the tree figurine is lovely.

Thanks for posting photographs, Jess!  Sorry I hadn't gotten around to it yet -- I've been sick the past two days.  Although I must say that I love those earrings so much that I wore them out on my trip for tea and ginger ale today, and I also got tons of compliments on them from a friend who stopped by!
