This'll be my fourth wish granted, but my second claim for Round 10, of catchstars.
I added some more stuff, I hope that helps keep options open Smiley

  • I'd be in heaven if someone made me a navy blue tote bag (big and roomy so I can sling it across my back), messenger bag, or a skipping bag, with a white ship's anchor somewhere on it, or perhaps repeating around the whole bag... this'd be sooooooooooooooo amazing (what? obsessed with the sea? ME? never!)

  • homespun or hand dyed yarn (Kool Aid dyed yarn would be neato)

  • an asymmetrical jacket -- these are sooooooooooooo neat! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=80236.0
I guess as far as styles or colors go, I'm a pretty casual dresser, don't wear bright colors (am more of an earthy tone or gem-y colors person), I like all over prints, and can't stand argyle, plaid, or denim. (the second one in that post is awesome.) otherwise i'm pretty easy to please!

  • a flowy ankle length skirt for the summer. send me a pm for details

  • something with an anchor (or anchors) on it or something with a pirate ship. I'll leave it up to you!

  • a bunch of ATCs (artist trading cards - check out their swap galleries if you're not sure what they are! they're neat!). the two themes I'd love would be:
    1) scientific or quirky captions over nature themed images
    2) Neutral Milk Hotel / The Decemberists / Mountain Goats song lyrics
My most FAVORITE ATCs have been these: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=57143.40
Page 5, very last post at the bottom of the page
I'd love some of these (maybe around 6 of them) because I'm wanting to frame a bunch set next to each other - I'd adore anyone who sent some!

  • amigurumi critters!

  • a zip up hoodie with "banjos not bombs" on the back of it - women's large or x-large if it's really really snug. I'd be happy to share measurements / sizing help if you pm me!

  • a union jack tote bag, big enough to throw in a couple books and everyday junk (keys, ipod, pens, etc.)

  • anything Neutral Milk Hotel themed, other than some cds (since I have like, every single known recording on Earth, this obsession is baaaaaaaaaad)

  • this is a complete long shot, but it can't hurt to wish! I'm in love with the Go Anywhere cardigan in the Stitch N Bitch book, but I am not that skilled a knitter yet -- if someone could make that for me, I would probably personally visit them just to give them a gigantic hug and smother them with crafting love, and would most definitely return such a thoughtful and amazing gesture!

  • a set of pretty pillowcases for standard sized pillows (made by you) -- I'm hoping to collect a bunch of homemade linens so someday when I get my cottage on the sea I can use all of them and remember my fellow craftsters, then tell stories of where they came from to my grandchildren - some of these would be amazing

  • a stenciled / appliqued / silkscreened tank top for summer -- some ideas I've got in mind: anchors, ships & boats, cute critters, nature anything, pretty flower blossoms

  • pretty wooden jewelry (especially earrings!) or a pretty felted bead necklace

  • a tote with a pretty pirate ship on it (I could supply images if anyone wanted for ideas)

  • a learn to make felted beads kit - I'm dying to learn how to make these

  • a stamp necklace -- these are just downright gorgeous, if I had one I'd wear it every day. I'd love something with a nature theme, from animals to sprawling landscapes to flower blossoms. Foreign stamps would be amazing too, something ethnic looking. I'd be happy to send someone stamps for this if they asked. There's tons of inspiration (and the original post) found here:

Right now I am in New York again!
I'm a massive fan of all animals, am a vegetarian (eat my homemade dairy products), am obsessed with the ocean, tattoos, anchors & ships, octopi, surfing, tree hugging, and being a displaced hippie granola child. I love blues and greens, softer earthy tones, and all colors of the desert and sea (not the biggest fan of bright colors or neons, pink or purple, or orange). Feel free to ask if you have any questions! Thanks so much in advance to anyone who picks me! Smiley
I have a swap info page linked in my profile and a wists page here if it helps for inspiration!

I've been away from the site going through lots of medical testing. If I have not wrote you or mailed something, please understand that my concerns right now are my health and I will send things asap!

I will send you a felted beads making kit! They are so fun!

Here's my list!

A kimono fabric hobo bag like this https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=56519.0 (I am in LOVE with the indigo/orange one!)

Or the necktie schoolbag https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=45985.0;topicseen

Some kind of jewelry roll/organizer thingie for traveling, that will keep my bling from getting tangled!

This is a long shot...but I love it and I'd have no idea how to begin to make one...pmc crane necklace: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72997.msg686245;topicseen

A how-to kit for one of the crafts I want to learn: bookbinding, pmc, resin , microscope slide necklaces (I have a soldering iron but nothing else...and I'm not sure how to use it!   )

I'm loving all the fancy cabled stuff lately...the owl cables, Bobolink's tree, etc. So, something, anything with "picture" cables! Especially a big satc clutch with dowels, but really, anything!

Day of the Dead shrine or figure of a librarian. It would be extra sweet if she was working with slides or art books! OR a happy looking Day of the Dead dog or cat! OR a hanging DOTD butterfly or bird!

A big modern/funky felted stuffy monster guy like Mr. Pretty https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86035.0;topicseen something a single adult who doesn't collect stuffies but secretly loves them could pass off as "modern decor" and put on the couch like a pillow -LOL. I love Mr. Pretty!

Kanzashi flowers! I received some from Sea of Stars and now I'm HOOKED! I'm Koo-koo for kanzashi!

Fleuri bag https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=29772.0;topicseen

Bloomers! Yeah...resistance is futile....

A wrap skirt! In a 50's inspired, Asian or Amy Butler/Alexander Henry-ish fabric. PM me for more info! Or anchors! My inspiration is, well, everything on madewithlovebyhanna h.com! That girl is a genius!

Knitty's Nautie! http://knitty.com/ISSUEspring06/PATTnautie.html coiled, in pretty colors. I love nautie!! I've been obssessed with chambered nautilus since I was a kid!

Felted camellia! with or without bag! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=92340.0;topicseen I love this bag, the colors, the flower, everything about this post is pure joy!

An Amy Butler bag:  it's my aspiration to be able to sew them one day

Summery Noni style felted  flower! http://www.pureknits.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=66_85 to put on the noni bag I'm receiving from Rockstr009! I just love all of this stuff!!

Some kind of crafty surprise! You can get ideas from my posts or my "wists"!

I've been really into bird stuff lately, especially swallows. AND I've been really into tree/blossoming branch/cherry blossom images So... something with a bird/swallow/tattoo swallow/bird with cherry blossoms/blossoming branch motif? Hmmm....

I'd also love a bag made with the Laurie Smith fabrics at Hancock! I love them all! A springy purse...lovely!

I ordered an Owlie bag from Sea of Stars but she's been sick and had some stuff going on and had to cancel the order. If anyone knows how to make something like that, I'd love an Owlie bag. I hope SoS feels better very soon!

A collage librarian tshirt like Bigmouth made in the Librarian swap, or a Nancy drew tote bag from the same swap!

This is my second claim for round 10, and I'll do a camellia for batgirl.

And here's my wish list:

Knitty's Branching Out (http://www.knitty.com/issuespring05/PATTbranchingout.html) [preferably in spring green, grey, off-white, or soft violet).

A necklace with a big fabulous pendant

A little zip-up pouch or a roll for my crochet hooks in fabric printed with cherry blossoms or apples

Handspun yarn

A tote bag

A corduroy or vinyl wallet

Brooches, pins, or buttons

Something with an octopus on it

Anything with anatomical lungs screenprinted on!

catchstars, i'll make you some brooches!

here's my list:

1. A bag like this one:  https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84722.0
I LOVE it, especially the birdy theme (and size! i have a lot of books so it would need to be large and sturdy).  Maybe in green?  I would love you forever!  Or a tote in the style of this one (Im not such a fan of the fabric): https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83530.0
2. A circle skirt or a similarly non-tight knee-ish length skirt.  PM me for size/colors.  There is at least on in my wists I need something to wear this summer, since I hate to wear shorts!
3.  A vinyl tote/large purse/messenger bag with some freestyle sewing-machine embroidery.
4. A belt.  Id like something that can go with lots of different colors (maybe a neutral-y blue or green and white?) and I wear my jeans low on my hips, so PM me for measurements!
5. A nice sturdy grocery tote or two like these: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=47761.0
6. Something for me to carry my lunch in.  Right now I just use paper sacks, which makes me feel very wasteful, and I hate that theyre so noisy and crinkly (I cant sneakily eat snacks!).  PM me for specific size/style.
7. Pajama pants.  Id like a pair in soft colors; flannel would be awesome and so would vertical stripes!
8. Some sort of summery shirt/tank top.  There are a few in my wists that I would love!  Somewhat relatedly, a cute cardigan (could be reconned, embroidered, whatever) to wear when it gets chilly!
9. Fabric headbands.  I recently received some awesome knitted headbands and now I want to wear headbands all the time!  Not too wide, please -- I have a smallish head and I'm about to get my hair cut again.
10. Is it totally weird to ask for underwear?  I am in serious need of some new, cute undies!  Stripes, polka dots, whatever as long as theyre comfy and not bulky.  (If youre under 18, please make sure your parents are okay with you making underwear for a stranger Smiley)

1. Amigurumi animal modeled after one of my pets (your pick of cats, dog, or hamster)
2. A headband like this one: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=74104.0
3. A knitted cloche hat.  Id love one in olive, cranberry, beige/brown, or a deep reddish orange.  Warm, earthy tones look best on me.  I like this hat:
https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84722.150 (scroll down)
4. A felted anything.  A felted bag would be neat.  Ooh, or felted beads!

Paper crafts:

1. Handmade stationery or notecards with envelopes.
2. Paper stars for me to hang in my room like these ones: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83862.0;topicseen

A DIY kit for any of the following:

1. making paper
2. soapmaking
3. stenciling or screen-printing
4. kanzashi flowers
5. making stuffies!  (please no creepy eyes!)
6. knitting
7. clay beads
8. felted beads/needle felting
or surprise me with a cool DIY craft kit! I love learning how to make new things!

1. I love this crane necklace: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72997.msg686245;topicseen
2. Teeny little super guy glass: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86122.0
3. A stenciled/silkscreened shirt or bag.  Things Ive been into lately: birds, cherry blossoms, cats, trees, the phrase cat party, muffins.  PM me if you need more ideas/sizes.
4. These microscope slide pendants are absolutely gorgeous: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=84722.from1145839460;topicseen#new (near the bottom of the page)
5. Some yummy soap.  No animal products, please!
6. A few pretty brooches to make my work clothes (mainly plain cardigans over tanks) a little less dull.  I would love one with a small kanzashi flower or with a little felted flower (like the felted camellia in my wists).
7. Anything that has to do with any of my pets pictures available upon request Smiley
8. Radish earrings!
9. A prettified travel coffee mug for me to take to work in the mornings.  My roommate borrowed my old one a few months ago, but it was pretty ugly anyway.  Dishwasher safe please Smiley
10. A surprise based on my wists!

1. Im just getting into journal making and I would love some neat paper!  Mostly text-weight or scrapbook paper no cardstock, unless its a really cool pattern.  **If you choose me for this, PLEASE write do not bend on your package!!  My mailman likes to try and cram things into the mailbox**

2. Ephemera!  Especially anything with birds on it; I would be eternally grateful if I received some bird-watching books (or other science-y bird books with small drawings/watercolors of birds) that I could cut up to make pendants with.  Also, anything that will help me getting started making ATCs, which is going to be my next project! thanks, princessblueberry!

3. I forget the brand, but I would love a stamp pad or two with that one kind of ink that can be used on anything paper, fabric, wood, etc.  **I actually caved and bought myself on of these in black, but I would love any other color!**  Or any other stamping goodies Ive started carving my own stamps, but I only have one (kind of junky) ink pad.

4. I have a beautiful old Singer sewing machine, but Im absolutely terrified of it.  It seems like every time I use it, I manage to mess up the tension or get a big wad of thread stuck coming up from the bobbin.  I would love you forever if you sent me the manual for it (theres an online version similar to mine here: http://www.sewingonline.co.uk/instructions/singer478  -- but I work better with instructions I can hold and touch) or anything to help me overcome my fears and also learn how to deal with common sewing machine problems instead of throwing up my hands in defeat. yay, animegirlie is sending me the manual!!

5. Anything to help me organize all of my craft junk.  This could be anything from a pretty jar to hold pencils/rulers/scissors to a decoupaged box to a nice big basket/tote for works in progress.  Any organization would seriously help me!

About me: I'm a 19 year old working college student in Portland, Oregon.  Im studying to become a social worker.  I love nature and animals; I have 3 cats, a dog, a hamster, and some fish.  I don't like super flashy things (neon, huge hawaiian flowers, etc) and my favorite colors are green, red, and blue.  I love vintage stuff -- some of my favorite fabrics are 30s style prints.  I also like more modern patterns, like bold stripes and polka dots and there is a special place in my heart for super-cutesy cat prints.

Thank you!!

catpants I'll claim you for a diy papermaking kit Smiley

I'm in New York and this is my second claim:

1- Amy Butler type of fabric- actually any type of fabric you have- preferably about a yard long.

2- A bag like this:

3- Felt bead necklace like the purple one in the link below.

4- A clutch like the Sex and the City one. I would love the white knitted one that has cables in it on the dowels.
Thank you rockstr009!!

5- A painting inspired by Monet to dress up my bedroom.

6- A diy kit for sewing a specific project that you are good at. I'm a beginner sewer and I work well with patterns but I would love to learn some new projects. For example: If you're good at making Jordy bags or a certain type of skirt than you could send me a picture filled tutorial and some materials to aid me. I can make a lot of basic things so I would love learning something with more difficulty. If you need me to be clearer you can PM me.

7- A wallet made of some big bold flower fabric [not paisley flower like] Pretty please!
The fabric and style is perfect.

8-- DIY stencil kit or Kanzashi flower kit. I'm loving the kits that you guys put together- every one I've gotten has been incredibly amazing!

9- A knitted headband like this one:
I love the colors used in it too.

10- I love everything about this orange clutch:

11- A bag knitting bag like the green one down at the bottom of the page. I love the color!

12- Any Amy Butler patterns that you have [with all pattern pieces and directions, please]

14- Anything on my wists  Smiley

15- I'm sort of in a long distance relationship and I would love a kit that would help cheer me up for the times that my boyfriend isn't here. OR a kit that would help motivate me to work out and eat better. The whole winter I've been living on a diet of cheese doodles and brownies. Hehe.

16- A fleece hat with ears on it [with directions included so I can learn how to make more]  Yea! Thank you so much racehorse87!

17- Anything and everything to help me sell more things on my etsy shop or to make it more professional for when I do.  Cheesy

About me: I'm 22 and I'm going for my masters in early education. I work at a daycare center in a classroom filled with four year olds. I love to knit [beginner], crochet, cook, and sew. I want to broaden my crafting horizons though so I want to learn some new things. I love dark gem-like colors, especially blues, plums, and reds.  I'm a simple girly-girl. I think this picture best sums up my style: http://static.flickr.com/31/63660763_ae87a69fec.jpg?v=0

I claim dontlookback for a fleece hat (I hope pink and black is fine!)

I'm in Canada and this is my first claim.  Smiley

1. Knitted socks. I would LOVE a pair of these http://knitty.com/ISSUEwinter04/PATTverytallsocks.html (Black/grey/white/burgundy or a brighter color scheme would be awesome)
or these (so pretty!) https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=59711.0

2. Crocheted shrug or capelet: http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/maple/maple.html or http://www.berroco.com/exclusives/beatrice/beatrice.html

3. Ribbon scarf. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=24510.0

4. Petticoat. With enthusiastic poof - I made one, but it's rather ineffective (*sniff) https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=25389.0

5. Messenger bag. Mine has now been loved too much and is falling apart. I bring it to church and to music practices. I would like the top to zip up. It doesn't need too many pockets, one zippered one inside and a large non zipper one on the inside would be good.

6. A shnazzy tote bag to bring my music books to voice lessons in. It should be the shape and size to fit a couple of big books (about binder size) in. An inner zipper pocket would be muchly useful in it too. Sweet! My music books are thanking you k8kre8s, and so have the bags I've been trying to stuff them into.  Cheesy

7. Crochet belt. https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=82511.0

8. Felted dreadlocks and instructions on how to put them in.

9. Reconned shoes. My feet are size 8.5 - 9.

10. A hanging earring organizer. I like the idea of the metal screening used in the one made for Bente by littlest ninja here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=66625.300

11. Anything from my wists. Most of this is there, but not all. http://www.wists.com/racehorse87

** I can add more if I stall the swap **

About me: Im an 18 year old student of the sciences in Quebec, Canada. My tastes are quite varied, but Ill try to categorize them. I like gothic (egl and classic), Victorian, slight punk influences (not skulls, but chains can be nice), boho, girly, classy, and vintage. I love tweed, herringbone, houndstooth, plaid, and lace. Colorwise, I like a lot of dark, rich colors, but also delve into the brighter side of life sometime too. In general, as long as its not really tacky looking, Im probably going to like it.
