ok well i am interesting in buying my own sewing machine ( i used to use my moms but she gave it to my grandma .  nothing to special but it has to be durable and hold up.  I DO NOT WANT TO SPEND A SMALL FORTUNE LOL.  ok well if anyone has any suggestions...

Go to the sewing machine store that sells second hand ones, and buy one made entirely out of metal. It will probaly only have straight and zigzag stitch and if you are really lucky stretch stitch. You should pay about $150.00 Canadian. Oil it every 30 hours of sewing and it will probably last forever. The newer ones make of plastic don't hold up as well unless you spend huge amounts of money on them.
