There is one craft that never fails to amuse me. If I can't think of anything else, I take one of those little wooden boxes that i got at micheals for 60 cents each, and I attack it with my art supplies. So here are four boxes I've made recently:
I made this one for the purpose of holding buttons. The little word clipping says "Fingers fly with a speed born of experience" and it's covered with pictures of button up shirts..not too original but whatever.

This one is my earring box. Lined with felt, painted red, decoupaged with an old fashioned diver and a background of polar ice. Yomme.

This one is a tribute to the anti-inflammatory pills I had to take for three months. Due to strain in my lower back, my left leg would become a throbbing mass of pain by the end of each day. Eventually, I physiotherapied the pain away and was told to stop taking the pills. I had nine left, so I decided to make a little memoir. Behold: the pill box. Take with food... I keep my small change in this one because it tends to always be spent on junk food.

This, I made today. I'm not sure what to keep in it yet, but we'll see. Maybe magazine clippings...

And they all lived happily ever after.

YAY I love the boxes !
I have a tribute to injury box too- it has all the pins in it that I had in my knee when I was little, pieces of the cars I've been in accedents in, pics of thos same cars, mini shots of the x rays of my back from when I broke it, pieces of all the casts I'v had.... the box has had to grow a few times LOL

But I can say I am 2 1/2 years accedent free!
