I am doing the Easter Egg Hunt at my church for the third year.  It's a long (and boring) story, so I won't go into the details, but I didn't find out about it until yesterday that I was expected to do it again this year.  So in the past I bought craft kits from Oriental Trading but this year I don't have time.

I need a fun craft for kids ages 1 (with parental help) to 12ish.  Last year I did a really cute Chick frame and the year before I did a wall hanging with a lamb that was made from the kid's handprint.  All were foam based crafts and they were easy enough for the little kids to do.  I also require no paint or markers because the kids are in the Easter clothes and, well, I know I'd be mad if by 2 year-old went to church and came home covered in markers or paint.

So any ideas?  I'm also paying for this myself so I don't want it to be too expensive.  It shouldn't need a lot of dry time either.  I want it to be fun and cool, something they'll keep and not toss when they get home.  I like crafts to be useful when possible.

So that's a tall order, and why I'm having so much trouble!  I'd appreciate any ideas.  Thanks so much!

I don't know if this would be possible- what with the 1 year olds- but maybe origami? Or a 3d easter egg? I don't know where you would find the 'patterns'. But if you did, maybe the older ones could do all the folding ect, and the little ones could colour them in (with pencils).

Sorry, not very good with ideas  Roll Eyes haha

Love me for who I am
