Here are my DIY projects for our August 12 wedding.

The invites were simple.

My fiance built this arbor for us to be married under.

I've sewn my daughter's dresses as well as made their flower girl baskets.

Their earrings.

Small multicoloured pom poms to decorate fence.

There will be larger red and copper coloured ones for the tent, etc.

Hair picks for the girls.

- I've also sewn my Indian inspired outfit and dupatta.

- I've sewn vests for the boys.  My fiance gained weight and doesn't fit his anymore.

- I'm in the process of making favour tags to accompany the sugar cookies we'll bake and decorate.  The tags say "Christine and Blake.  August 12, 2006.  Two crafty souls joined to become an unstoppable Do It Yourself Team!"

- I am making the boys' ring pillows.

- I will be making keepsake necklaces for our kids.

- We also customed designed my wedding ring.

More photos will come as I complete more projects.

Yay!  That makes three crafty Aug. 12 brides!!!!  Exciting how close it's getting Smiley  I am hoping that after this afternoon (major crafting day today) I'll be able to post a few more photos.

Okay, one more project down, one gajillion to go!

Ringearer's pillow sewn this evening-- and darned cute if I do say so myself!

Next up? Finish cutting and hem fabric squares for under the centerpieces, sew a hankie using grandmother's wedding lace.

Oh my...

I need to:

make my veil
possibly add sleeves to my dress
make a guest book...I mean decorate one...not make the whole book.
maybe remake the necklace I'm wearing..I dont know that I am loving it all that much.
I am also going to cover a small tattoo that looks out of place with tattoo airbrush paint..I should start practicing so that I have it right by wedding day.

My wedding is July 28th.

One more thing crossed off my list.

I finished the ring boy pillows for my sons.  I matched the red satin to mine and the girls' dresses and the orange organza is the same as the girls' sashes.  They'll also have the same red ribbon roses in their hair.

I don't like sewing pillows!

Littledoe-- thanks... yours loolk great Smiley  I got the inspiration for the style from the pleating/pick ups on my wedding dress... which will make it's debut on the wedding pictures thread some time after Aug. 12 Smiley  Then the pleats/bunches on the pillow will allllllllllllll make sense Smiley
