I'm in the middle of making a set of mario bad-guy throw pillows. Here's the goomba dude. I have the koopa troopa knit, I just need to sew it up.

I did this with intarsia, the first time I ever tried it. I have some advise for people who have never tried it before: It's not hard, but pick a design that is either perfectly symmetrical, or not at all, so you don't get confused. And get some bobbins, little yarn balls just roll away and get tangled.

I'd love to do a personal swap sometime. pm me ^_^

Awesome! That would go well with the Nintendo controller throw I saw on here the other day. Can't wait to see the koopa pillow.

Did you make your charts!?

Love it! However, I have a suggestion for the yarn getting tangled. What I use is an empty 12-pack box that pop came in. The fridge packs you know? I cut off the top and then fold it in half and ducttape it in the center of the box. Voila, a yarn holder with two compartments Smiley I just set it on the floor by my feet when I'm knitting. If it gets twisted around something else, I simply can slide them around on the floor to get them untwisted.

Oh, man...I love old-school Nintendo knits.

Awesome!  Post a picture of the Koopa-Troopa when you're finished?

Sherrie: That's a reall good idea. I'll have to try that next time.
Danyell: I made the chart myself. There's a website that will make one for you, but I wanted mine to be more smooth, and less pixeley than the original sprite, so I did it with photoshop.

I'd love to do a personal swap sometime. pm me ^_^
