hey ladies (and gentlemen) i am leaving in less than three weeks for mexico, by bus from toronto. i will be stopping briefly in major cities across the usa. and i want to swap something crafty (and small!) with someone in each city. i knit, sew, embroider and make random things. i draw alot.
i'll be stopping in these cities for at least half an hour. the full scheduale can be found here: http://www.greyhound.com/scripts/en/TicketCenter/Step3.asp under scheduale 4140

CLEVELAND, OH
COLUMBUS, OH
CINCINNATI, OH
LOUISVILLE, KY
NASHVILLE, TN
MEMPHIS, TN
DALLAS, TX
AUSTIN, TX
SAN ANTONIO, TX

and obviously Buffalo NY and Laredo TX.

it would have to be something really small, but i think this could be really fun. If anybody is interessted let me know!

thanks, amber

I live in Louisville, and I might be interested in swapping something. I couldn't get the schedule to come up, though. What day (and time) would you be coming through? Are you wanting to swap souvenir-ish crafts, like something thematic from each city or just whatever we come up with? This sounds really cool...

I'm in Dallas, but I'm having the same problem with the schedule.  I think this is a great idea!  I'd maybe be interested, if you can let me know when.

I'm in Austin.  I plan on signing up for a swap Monday though, and it'll be my first one.  So if it's an "official" swap, I probably won't be able to do it.  Also, it probably depends on how small, and what kinds of items you're looking to swap.

Nifty! I'm in Columbus--depending on what day/time you'll be here I'd be interested.

these are the times taken from the site, the first set is when we arrive in each city, the second set when we depart, the third should indiate how long the stop over is, and then ignore the last bit with the numbers and letters. also, we will starting on the 28th of april and arriving in laredo on the 30th.

as for what we swap, that could be individually decided. but remeber that whatever you make should be tiny for me, as i'll be hauling it around until i get back. if these times work for people, then i'd like to get started asap, as i'll have alot to do!

I wouldn't have thought this would count as an official swap - it's more like a personal swap, so you guys needn't worry about not having finished/participated in swaps !
(especially as your handing over in person, so there is no chance u won't get something in return)
