CONGRATS TO WINNER: Cherry Tree in Blossom shoulder bag by Annabel!!!!!

The theme for BAG CHALLENGE # 2 is: Spring bag!

How to do this challenge: Spring has sprung! For this challenge show us your most springy bags! Bring out those pastels and flowers, the lace and pearls! Or wow us with something something out of the ordinary that we would never expect to be a Spring bag-- but still completely passes to be one! Remember: We LOVE reconstructs too!

Deadline for Entries:
April 29, 2006

Winner will receive a Craftster button from Leah! Smiley

Posting your entries: THEY GO IN A REPLY TO THIS TOPIC!

Use this entry form (to be posted in the topic with your entry, not PM'd to me):
Bag Title:
Materials used:
Bag picture:

Remember that because every entry will be in this one thread, we cannot clutter the thread with off topic chatter. If you have a question about something please PM me and don't post it in the thread. If you have a compliment/question for someone else, PM it to them please. Everyone has to vote for your purse, and it will be much harder if they have to scroll through 4 pages of talking to find the entries and they may not even want to. I will have to delete off topic posts. It's for your own best interest to make sure everyone sees your entries! Smiley

What will happen to the thread/entries after the contest: I will "archive" this thread on the main page so everyone can see the past entries.

See the original thread here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=81298.0

This is my spring clutch!  It's the Amy Butler Downtown bag: I made it from some home dec fabric and it's lined with coordinating striped fabric.  You can't see it but there is a small strap and if you look closely you can see an additional flower.

I have mine posted here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=89349.0

here it is again....

Bag Title: Golden Granny Purse

This purse is made of vintage upholstery fabric and is embellished with vintage gold buttons, rick rack, and ribbon. The interior is lined with an old fashioned looking cotton quilt fabric and is also interfaced with quilt batting for extra support. The handles are brown corduroy with a faint pink that shows through the ribbing. The two front buttons and a ribbon loop create a nice closure for the purse.
The size is about 13"w x 8"h (18"h with handles).

Here is my submission: Orange dots and dragonflies
it is about 7 x 11 with a short strap. It is made with cotton fabric, reinforced with light batting, and a button closure.
