Yay! sweetie pie press, I'm glad you like the eyeball guy. I love making eyeballs.

And yeah, it's a Chinese red ink pad for chops/stamps. It's what everyone uses here. Here's a pic of eyeball guy and the ink pad:

Oh, I love the road kill turtle!  Especially the tire mark!

I'm on dial up so it takes awhile to get pictures so I usually read through what everyone writes about the picture while it's loading.  When I saw that a road kill tissue holder was coming, I had visions I can't describe running through my head of what I was about to see.  We don't have turtles here in Canada so I've never seen a road kill one - if they were that cute, I could handle it  Grin

Needing an on-line break ... I'll be back later in 2018.

Sorry this is late, but I've been so busy wearing my swap item that I forgot to post about it. hehe. A week and a half agao I got the most terrific kanzachi broch from Lechaton. It's pink and cream striped with a neat wooden button in the middle. I've gotten lots of complements on it. Thank you, Lechaton!

I just got a fantastic package from Sillysausage! I asked for candy from a foreign country, and she sent me all these goodies!  Cheesy (plus porridge!)

I opened the box to see it wrapped so nicely...

The candy!

She was kind enough to enclose a note explaining what some of the unlabeled things were, which helped a lot. I've already eaten a few of the things there!   Smiley

Thank you SO MUCH Sillysausage!

I received my wonderful gifts from liebschien yesterday. They are wonderful!

I had wished for stitch markers and she went WAY beyond!

I not only got ten of the most amazing crochet stitch markers I have ever seen, but she also sent me a bar of soap, and a duct tape wallet/pouch, (which my boys are fighting over by the way!)

(There's a pic of the inside on my blog)

MY TURN! MY TURN!  I received from jmi a few days ago but I had a dead camera but now, GOODIES!!!

I asked for a pair of funky earrings, so I would have been in heaven with these.  My favorite and what I am wearing now:

But, wait, there is more! Three more pairs! I wear gold and silver but jmi did not know this so she thoughtfully included BOTH!  The green ones are the ones with gold wires.

Well, then, she included a nice size pouch that happens to be the perfect size for the notecards she sent along as well!!  I love the colors and the fact that she added BUTTONS (I love buttons!).

One last pic of everything. See the orange notecard peeking out?

Thank you for being a sweet and crafty swap partner! You have inspired me to try my hand at making some earrings---MAYBE! ha ha

Ezri_B, you are more than welcome. They were fun to make and I wanted some, too.

Here's a close-up for anyone who's curious:

My mom saw me making them and she asked me to make her a pair. I told her they weren't earrings and she got a wierd look on her face that said, "You're talking crazy talk." Then she told me she wanted some anyway. Hehehe...so I'm going to make her some stitch-marker earrings tonight for Mother's Day.
