okay so i searched through other peoples questions on this pattern and i have another one.  i've made socks before, (once), but i can never get the picking up stitches part right (after you turn the heel)  so i'm trying to follow this pattern precisley but i'm getting really frustrated.  first, after you turn the heel, it says to K4, change to D, pm, k4 with needle 1.  so if you're supposed to knit the second set of four on needle 1, what needle is the first set of 4 knit on?  then, it says to hold an empty needl ein your right hand and insert it into the slipped stitch from front to back..i thought i understood that, but then how are you suppoesd to knit it if it's on the right side?  are you supposed to turn it around so that the stitch you just picked up with your right hand is now in your left hand, and knit tbl that way?  i'm so freakin confused / frustrated, can anyone help?

The pattern is incorrect in the book.  I sent an email to Deb about it, but she never published it on her errata page for the book.  Tongue  Anyway, here's that same email I sent to her....

You now have 23 sts on the heel needle...

...rep from * 13 times more - 22 sts on needle 1.

...holding an empty needle in your left hand...

Rnd 2 (dec): ...k1, ssk, k to end of needle 3.
