I Personally love the concept of beating the sh*t out of something and getting candy in return.

I hate photoshop, for my internship I had always to make CD-covers for a Jazz magazine, and it was a huge and really stupid photoshop project, so I started to hate it, haha.  ( the only thing I liked that it was going to be in the stores and everyones sees it haha ) Don't have them here, so I can't show you of. But my boyfriend loves photoshop, for a school project he had to make an advertisement for a bag, he choose freitag, and since it's made of truck fabric he made this in photoshop, it does look very good I guess just like a photograph ( he took a plain truck and a freitag bag. )

ooh!  everyone's photyshop work looks so spiffy.

Here's the first photoshop project I ever did in college!  We had to get at least five different pictures and put them all together in a cohesive collage...so I got a hat, Eddie Izzard's head, a dancer's torso, a tutu, an African tribesman's legs, some crazy ass shoes, and Botticelli's the Birth of Venus!  voila!!  My fave project ever:

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

Wee! photoshop!! These are some that I did for fark.com PS contests:
(clicky thumbnails!)

(photoshop the cruxshadows...a goth band, the singer has this ridiculous fraggle hair...so i took that and ran with it!)

(photoshop a Far Side cartoon...boneless chicken ranch!)

(photoshop some ugly-ass birds.......i got nothin.)

and technically, this was done in MS paint, for fark - 'your favorite album in MS paint,' but I'm posting it anyway, because it was a good 20 hours of carpal tunnel madness Cheesy

Oooh!! I had to do one of those in college too...but yours turned out WAY better than mine, lol. Nice bright colors, everything looks like it actually fits together too. Awesome job!

wow those are all really cool!  scissorchic i really like that first one Smiley

i do a lot of art in photoshop....but none of it is photomanipulations LOL.  i do things called pixel dolls Smiley
other people make the bodies (called 'bases') and then you can go and draw the clothes and the hair and accessories and whatnot.  i usually do a little editing to the faces and the shading to make them look more uniform with my style of drawing.  the only stipluation to using the bases is that you are supposed to link back to the creator's website Smiley
here are a few examples:

base bodies by http://poisonberry.net

base body by gabby

there are more on my DA site if anyone is interested:  http://breathe-only-me.deviantart.com/

haha its a weird little hobby i picked up, but can't seem to put down Smiley  its quite addicting and LOADS of fun Smiley  there are all kinds of forums with challenges and whatnot and tons of nice people Smiley

Oh wow, I used to doll also! I think I was actually pretty good but I stopped after a few months.

I've lost my sanity; can I borrow yours?
