Does anyone know how to make a beaded animal, like the ones in this link:

I have seen them on keyrings in the shops and I would like to try making one, but I would need a pattern.

Hope someone can help  Smiley

There are a whole bunch of Japanese, Chinese, and Thai beading books out there that feature three-dimensional animals out of crystals like those. Unfortunately, I don't know if there are any printed in English. If you're good with patterns, you can pretty much follow along. I was able to do some of the simple projects, like a seal and a teddy bear.

Check ebay for beading book and swarovski crystal, you may be able to find some of the books.

Arrgh, I know the exact website you want but have no idea of the address.  It's in french and it has patterns for all sorts of animals.  Google for beaded penguin, or beaded horse, etc.  I'm going to look to see if I can find it...

Ha Ha, found it http://perso.wanadoo.fr/mk.perles/indexfr.htm  Just click on Animaux on the left.

The page is in french but there's pictures so hopefully you can figure it out.

fifitinkerbell that link you had was for a kit. Maybe you could find out if the plan for it comes in english? If you made one you could probably figure out how to make another.

Seeing that little lizard took me back to my childhood Smiley I used to sell those at school about 12 years ago. Brings back lots of happy memories Smiley

ETA: I also meant to mention that the auction info said those were 3.5" long and about 5" tall.

Wow, Love those!!
I have made the lizard type and there was a great pattern book at Craft Warehouse with lots of different animals but they were all flat like the lizard.  I have not ever seen the 3 dimensional ones.  I would love to make some of those.  Thanks so much for sharing that link, it got my brain going trying to figure out how to make them 3 dimensional.

Sincerely BeaderPam
