Instead of doing something cool today, I sat in my living room, watched movies, and tried not to drop any pins on the floor while making this top:

and a back view:

Not too bad for an afternoon's work.  I don't know if you can tell, but the crisscross straps are pinned at the back of my neck (it helps keep my boobs from falling out).  I'll probably find some other way to do that, a ribbon or something, but for now a safety pin is fine.  (The top also has two hooks in the back holding it together.)

The hardest part was getting the triangles right.  I must have pinned them on six or seven times trying to get the fit right.  Boys have it so much easier when it comes to making clothes.

I really like it!  Nice job.  I especially like the fabric.  It's neat how the shape of the top compiments the shape of the fans on the fabric.  Good work.

That's really cute! I love the fabric, and the length of it is really nice.

Opiate eyes and summer skies.

Thanks!  One of the things I hate about buying clothes is trying to get the right length on a top.  Logical solution: make my own.

I like it. The fabric is neat and the shape is excellent. Those triangle bits ARE tough Smiley
