So I got my Annie May drop spindle a few days ago from , and I am completely in love.

Before:

After!:

It's thin and not-so-thin, mostly thin.  It looks a little felted, but I don't really mind at all.  Live and learn!  I like how it came out, considering I wasn't expecting it to be that good on my first try.  I did so much research on using the drop spindle that by the time I actually received it I just picked it up and spun away.  Addiction.  I'd better get more roving before I run out of this stuff (won't take long), or I might have withdrawals.

Thanks so much for looking!  Any comments/tips would be appreciated!!

That's so good!! I would never guess that was someone's first go at it. It looks great, keep up the good work and welcome to the club!

That looks awesome..far better than my first attempt!  And I love the color.  Fiber addictions are so prevalent...it's a good thing they're useful.

Looks great!  I bought my first spindles from Annie May's, and ended up completely, insanely addicted to it.  Watch out!
