Hi! This is sewandsew's boyfriend.  (I don't have my own account so I'm mooching off of hers.)  I made this wristband yesterday with some yarn and needles I had lying around to figure out how to do intarsia.  (Of course, I carried the yarn over instead of making bobbins so I kind of skipped the annoying part.)

Casting off with the skinny little needles was hard because I was using doubled-up worsted weight instead of the lighter yarn the pattern called for.  I finally figured out that replacing the right needle with a crochet hook helped a lot.

soo groovy! I'm showing this post to my husband when he gets home because I've been TRYING to teach him how to knit (my sweaters would go sooo much faster if he would knit the back while I knit the front!!) but he doesn't believe me that guys knit.

Aww, a guy that knits!! Yeah!!

If these walls came crumblin' down
Fell so hard, to make us lose our faith
From what's left you'd figure it out
Still make lemonade taste like a sunny day

Dang. That's neat. I thought it looked 'okay' in the book, but seeing it on your hand gives it added 'oomph', because it's 'real', you know what I mean?

YOur g/f is great for allowing you to 'mooch' off her account, and it's grand that you did such a fantastic job!

Absolutely smashing.
