VERY CUTE...Do you recomend the Happy Hooker for someone who has never crocheted before...or is more of a advanced book

carfterbynite- this is a perfect book for a new crocheter. I have known how to crochet (scarves and blankets) since I was a kid but could never figure out a pattern. Granted, this is a pretty straightforward pattern but I think i can manage all of the projects in the book. Get yourself to the book store and give it a try!

oh - that is so cute.....love the design on the lining - pretty fabric.  Okay, i'm nosey...what kind of yarn did you use?  Its adorable and so springy!

You aren't nosey, you're a craftster! I used Paton's Classic Merino (I love this yarn especially for the price) for the bag and the flower is from some leftover Bernat Cottontots from a baby project.
