I absolutely love the look of this but I was wondering if anyone had knitted it and if they could tell me anything about the pattern's difficulties or any other pictures? Any additional info would be appreciated. Smiley

Cathay is a worsted weight yarn, if that helps you.

I would definately use Cathay though. I have never worked with it but the swatch of it at my LYS makes it seem gorgeous.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see a picture or anything to refer to for the jacket. I am curious to see this Sgt. Pepper jacket. Please post a link or something so I might be able to help you out. Thanks!

Lauren from almost felted (http://almostfelted.knitblog.com/) test-knitted this.  Just look through the Rebel Rebel category (http://almostfelted.knitblog.com/?cat=40)

That's interesting that she knit it in Synchronicity because it's 50meriono50silk, and I would think of it as completely different than Cathay. But it looks gorgeous.

Buuuuuut.

Why did she have to test knit it? Did Amelia sell the pattern to Alchemy?

I think so.  It's on the Alchemy page (http://alchemyyarns.com/designs.html)

It's a lot less expensive if you do it in Cathay.
