you know how they say that if you put a bunch of monkees in a room full of typewriters (or for the heck of it lets say stylish desktops running m-word) that they would eventually produce the entire works of william shakespeare...well maybe one day the server will crash and all of the "lurk" "tute" "omg yur da bom" posts will just go away. sigh. "you may saaay im a dreamer...."

Look what youve done to me now, youve made me perfect

You know you're addicted when Crafster goes down and you start to panic that you're going to miss something - even though you know that no one else can get on either  Shocked

Only been a member almost 2 months and I was having withdrawal symptoms!

Needing an on-line break ... I'll be back later in 2018.

I am so so lucky that I was asleep during "the crash". I didn't get the withdrawl symptoms because I was out cold.

Should we post pics of our offerings here? Or under the catch-all category?  I think I'll crochet a quick doily out of plastic lacing.

Thank you, Leah, for fixing Craftster! I didn't know what to do with myself. Honestly, I sat in front of my laptop staring at a blank screen. I thought Craftster was ... gone! Heh, and I, too, thought I was missing out on something. Sigh. What on Earth would I do if Craftster really did disappear!? *making as many items as she can to sacrifice to the Computer Gods*

ETA: Right after I posted this the site went down! Eek! I meant to say Gods and Goddesses Smiley

This type of thing always makes me nervous.

Even when it is down for maintenence for a few minutes, I tend to check my e-mail, check back at craftster, pick up something that I'm knitting, do a few rows,  check back at craftster, Nevously knit a few more rows,  check back at craftster, go look out the window,  check back at craftster... (you get the idea) and end up watching an episode or two of dog wisperer or an infomercial until it comes back up.

I think the gods need some paper mache dinosaur figurines and something made out of a two liter bottle, egg carton, and an empty toilet paper roll.

To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong.

ok so maybe this is stupid, but if anyone does make sacrifices i made a place to put them:

The boys i mean are not refined
They cannot chat of that and this
They do not give a fart for art
They kill like you would take a piss
They speak whatever's on their mind
They do whatever's in their pants
The boys i mean are not refined
They shake the mountains when they dance

I'm glad to see I wasn't the only one stressed out while craftster was down (BIG DEEP BREATH).  I am glad to see it's up back and working and that.  Sorry the God's got angry.  I'll throw in some pea and toothpick sculptures as well as some fingerpaints  Cheesy Wink

We could learn a lot from crayons:
some are sharp, some are pretty, some are dull, some have weird names.
All are different colors,
but they all have to learn to live in the same box.
