Picked up the yarn for it, now i'm getting excited.
Must wait until finished essays, but then watch out there will be furious knitting.
And of course I will posta  pic of it when it's done.

It's one of the few shrugy-esq patterns that will look good on a larger girl without making it look.... like i'm pregnant. As is what happens with the circular sided shrugs. :\

This is a GREAT project, and it looks fabulous on you!  Thanks for sharing the idea!  I'm anxious to see what everyone else's looks like.

Mistake?  No... it's an Unexpected Design Element.  I put it there on purpose.  *ahem*

Ok - here's my version.  I knit it from front to back, instead of side to side.  I also added some ribbing on the sleeves.

I think it looks a little weird when I'm just standing normal:

I guess I'll have to walk around with my hands on my hips all the time!
Thanks, ambear, for this idea.  It was a nice quick knit that produced something unique to wear!

another thing to add to my 'must do' list (at least I shouldn't have to wait years for my knitting skill to get to this stage)

The pictures are a bit big so i figured i'd link em.
Please excuse the really bad "lounging" apparel otherwise.
