Where I live, I only have access to crappy acrylic yarn, which is kinda starting to get to me. Anyone know where I can get some super-soft worsted weight yarn online, with my only method of payment being PayPal (I don't have a credit card)? I ask because I need something softer than the acrylic here to make (non-pastel colored) baby gifts for a co-worker.

What was that for?! Chickens are not your brethren!

there are tons of online yarn stores that accept paypal out there!
you could try www.littleknits.com for a start....then there's ebay too.
be warned though, you could get out of control with all the amazing yarns available out there.(i know i did)

THere is a way to use a virtual debit card with paypal too, I think.  I don't know the details of it and whether you have to have a credit card linked to paypal in order to use it.  It does take the funds from your paypal balance if you have one.  I've used it to buy things.

Lemme find you a link: https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=p/shop/vdebit (you have to login, but it will take you to the correct place).

I've learned that you DO have to have a credit card linked to paypal in order to use it, but it will take the funds from your paypal balance if you have one.  This works if you don't want to use a credit card because you don't want to acquire debt.  If you don't want to have a credit card at all, then this won't work for you.

these are small businesses that take regular paypal.  here are some:

there are also wahms here: http://hyenacart.com/hc_search.php who will take paypal.  I searched for yarn or needles to get some ideas.

do any of the http://www.etsy.com sites take paypal?

I believe that http://www.handpaintedyarn.com takes paypal, and their yarn is GORGEOUS!

Elann takes paypal, and they have such a wide variety.  And they ship fast too.
