I found Noodle Princess' package in my mail box yesterday. I have a lock-box, so I'm really lazy about checking it. I think the package was in there, waiting, for a few days before I remembered to look. Sad Oh well, yesterday was the perfect day for opening it as I had a really crappy day--until I opened the package, that is!

I got:

  • A really cute card that I almost don't want to use
  • An awesome metal red hanging bird (it's going in the front window)
  • Adbusters! (Amazing anti-commercialism magazine--just like how Old Seattle used to be)
  • Chopsticks (the bf tried to steal them, but he didn't get very far since we live together)
  • "Not wanted on the voyage" by Timothy Findley (yeah! books and reading!)
  • Tasty candies that I'm going to spread out slowly over time (so I don't get sick)
  • Awesome Shea butter soap
  • Tasty lip balm
  • Buttons! Hurrah!
  • Seed packets for my front porch garden (licorice mint sounds so tasty--how'd you know I'm a mint fanatic?)
  • kitschy tourist pen and pencil (perfect for writing in a stuffy "hip" cafe that needs more kitsch to lighten the mood)
  • Canadian nail clippers and stickers
  • Gold sequins (form Canada, which makes them special magical sequins)
  • A crazy crow magnet
  • Bangles! (I'm wearing them right now)

I heart Noodle Princess and Canada!

Sorry y'all, but I have the best swap partner ever- Rainy, you rock!!! I was sitting in the dark, just getting over a migraine, and the doorbell rang- "Special pkg for Mrs. Cosby?" I'd say!!!

Everything, except the cd, which I started listening to when I opened the pkg- I'm still listening to it, its an awesome mix of country, I am not sure of the all the names of the artists, but its stuff I used to love as a kid-my mom used to play many of these songs- oh I could cry from happiness!!!! What you see above is more than I could have ever wished for and some stuff that (Rainy, girl, are you a freaking mindreader?? Tell me the truth!!!) that I have only be dreaming of recently, and never told you about, like Cherry Tree Hill Supersock!!!!!

I was just drooling over that yarn online, in that same colorway- two days ago!!!!!

I'm loving to see what everyone got. I can't wait for my partners to receiver their packages and to receive my packages too!! I'm thinking about sending an envelope with some magazines and maybe that will arrive earlier so that my partnes don't have to wait so long to have something in hands?
