When I moved into my apartment, it had a really boring, cheap, black metal chandelier in the dining room.  I wanted to make it more interesting without investing too much money, or making any permanent changes.  So, I made a bunch of little strings of beads and hung them from the arms of the chandelier.  Here's how it looks now:

You know what else might look cool?  Get even longer strands of beads, probably on wire, and wrap them around the shafts on the chandelier.  Like a candy cane effect.  That would really dress it up even more.

I like it a lot. It would look even hotter with some little, homemade beaded lampshades...

Make something beautiful.

I was recently in a $7 million mansion for a film shoot, and they had some light fixtures that kind of resemble that!  You're money, baby!
