i LOVE everything about this blanket.

actually, i think of it as modern art.

it is so well designed and finished. you could seriously charge some serious cash for blankets like this (although you may never want to look at another square...or at least for awhile). hip, modern moms are looking for attractive takes on traditional objects like baby blankets. man, even I want a baby so i can have a blanket like this!

very, very well done.

Am starting this NOW for my baby.
No, I'm not pregnant.  Nor will I be any time soon.  But that is wonderful.  I started an blanket for my brother when my mom first found out she was pregnant...Baby Boy is now three years old and will gag when I finish it because it's pale yellow and white and ruffly.  (Hey, my parents didn't find out the gender ahead of time, and my mom liked pale yellow and green as gender-neutral colors.  And she swore up and down she was having ANOTHER girl.)

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooo... the colors!! Shocked I love that it's those bright colors instead of the typical pastel baby colors. It looks wonderful, and I'm sure she'll (and the baby.Cheesy) will enjoy it.Cheesy

That is way cool! I was wondering how you got the circles to turn into squares though, I am kind of new to crochet!
