So, practically a year ago when I first met my best friend/not-boyfriend/business partner/whatever, he told me that he thought it was really cool that I knit, but that he didn't have much use for anything knitted, especially a scarf.  I found a couple of ways around this when I was knitting stuffed animals for the daycare where I worked; I would give the silly looking first tries, his favorite being a green teddy that looked like a frog.  He named her BETTY (Brain Eating Teddy Toad, Yo).

But more recently, when I said that I was looking to chart out something more difficult that stripes on a scarf, he piped up with "If you can't think of anything, I'd like one with stripes and skulls."  But of course, I wanted to do something more than that, so I made him a scarf with the logo and character from his favorite cartoon, the Boondocks.  On one end is the logo, and on the other, a sillhoutte of Huey Freeman.  The inside is lined with striped red and grey fleece.  Here are a few pictures of it.  I'll eventually post an action shot of him wearing it, but when I gave it to him, he made off with it, all excited and I haven't gotten the chance.

the whole scarf.

logo.

sillhoutte.

fleece inside.

And, like I said, action shot soon.  Smiley

That is truly amazing. It really looks like a scarf you'd buy in a store, plus the Boondocks rock. Do you have a chart that you could give us?

That. Is. Awesome!   Shocked  It must've been tough to do Huey's outline. There's so little Boondocks merchandise out there, thi'll probably be a very envied item.  ^^
